“What I Want to Tell Leukemia” began as an expressive activity started by a Child Life intern at St. Jude as a way to help patients to communicate their feelings about their diagnoses, their hospital experiences and the changes their diagnoses have caused in their daily lives. Patients and their families were encouraged to express their feelings on a wall.

While it is not intended to be a permanent display, the popularity of this particular project has caused it to remain a staple in the playroom.

Thursday and Friday our 22nd Annual Country Cares for St. Jude Radiothon will be underway.

It costs $1.6 million a day to run St. Jude in Memphis, from the research to the little band-aids.

We will be asking you to be a Partner in Hope. Your donations help fund research that is shared with hospitals and medical facilities right here in Spokane.
