Bi-Weekly means every 2 weeks, not twice a week as Melissa thought. If she really wants to get paid Bi-Monthly then that would entail being paid every 2 months. The signs at work are correct.
That would be correct however the Merriam-Webster definition of Bimonthly is: a. Occuring every 2 months b. Occuring twice a month.
So when Melissa stated that the signs should read bimonthly she would be incorrect in that regard as they are still not the same beings there are 52 weeks in a year, not 48.
