WHAAAAAAAT? FREEZING CANDY 4 THE KIDS NEXT YEAR?!?!


DUDS IN DOWNTOWN wrote in -- his wife wants to freeze all the leftover candy for 2011's trick-or-treaters! OMG! IS THAT OKAY?!?!?! Well, milk chocolate does last eight to 10 months WITHOUT freezing.... SO....

  1. We freeze Halloween Candy every year since our boys were 2, that is 10 yrs, we started this, now it does not make it until the next Halloween, but they do get to eat on it for a year....saves money and there teeth.

  2. Freezing chocolate could cause it to crack and break apart when you thaw them and it could get all gooey and gross(happened to me when I was a kid and wanted a cool sweet treat over the summer). KIDDS dental in Liberty Lake is collecting leftover candy and paying you $1/pound and doing raffles for all the candy you bring in. They are sending it to the troops overseas. This would be a better use of the candy.
