MILITARY MAIL DEADLINE IS TODAY 4 HOLIDAY SHIPPING!!


TODAY is the deadline for sending holiday packages by the postal service's parcel post to most troops who are stationed overseas or are at sea -- if you want the packages to get to troops by Christmas. This first deadline is for packages addressed to APO (Army/Air Force Post Office) and FPO (Fleet Post Office) ZIP codes.

Packages sent by priority mail to "contingency" military areas such as Afghanistan and Iraq can be sent up to December 4th to get there by the holidays. First-class cards and letters should be sent no later than December 18th to ensure Christmas delivery…
